ONGC has published recruitment notification for the post of Director(Exploration) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director.He is primarily responsible for development and implementation of Exploration Strategy, Reservoir Management, Performance Management, Managing exploration efforts etc.as well as to cater the service needs of the organization.

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 after converting a statutory commission namely Oil & Natural Gas Commission through an Act of Parliament with the vision to become a world class oil and gas company integrated in energy business with dominant Indian Leadership and global presence. ONGC is a schedule –‘A’ / Maharatna CPSE in Crude Oil sector with the administrative jurisdiction of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The company employed 32265 regular employees(Executive- 20965, Non-executives-11300) as on 31.03.2018 Its Registered and Corporate offices are at New Delhi and Dehradun, Uttarakhand respectively.
The authorized and paid up capital of the Company were Rs.15,000 crore and Rs. 6,416.62 crore respectively as on 31.03.2018. The shareholding of the Government of India in the company is 68.07%.

Name of the Post: Director Post - 01 Post
Education Qualification : B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech, M.Sc
The applicant should be a Post Graduate in Geosciences/ Physics/ Chemistry or Graduate in Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university/institution with good academic record. Applicants with post graduate in Geosciences/ graduate in Petroleum Engineering will however be preferred.

Salary : Rs. 1,80,000 - Rs. 3,40,000/- Per Month
Experience : 12 - 15 years
The applicant should have adequate experience at senior level in an organization of repute, out of which at least 5 years during the last ten years should have been in the field of exploration and development in hydrocarbon sector.
Job Location : New Delhi
Age: Minimum 45 Years, Maximum 2 years of residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation. Age of superannuation 60 years.
